Happy 10th Anniversary – To US!!
It’s RockHits 10th Anniversary! We were first on the air on September 7, 2015 but the final operational up for regular programming was not settled till approximately early to mid November. We have been serving the Charlottesville area since then with the same active and alternative rock format. Interestingly, our call sign, WXRK, was held previously by a highly successful station in New York City with a very similar format which has gained us a few on line listeners there!
Our special day is Monday November 24, 2025!
